Pastor Ryan Patenaude began serving as Pastor of West Prairie in January 2019. He grew up in Crookston, MN and attended AFLBS after high school. He moved to Ohio where he finished college, married Stephanie, and planned to stay. But after eleven years he was called to seminary and moved his family to MN where he graduated from the Association Free Lutheran Theological Seminary in Plymouth. In his free time, he can be found roasting coffee, playing pickleball, or being distracted by one of a dozen other hobbies.

Ryan and Stephanie have been married since 2007 and reside in rural Kindred with their 5 kids.
